ΣΕΜΙΝΑΡΙΟ ΥΠΟΚΡΙΤΙΚΗΣ ΑΠΟ ΤΟΝ DENNIS REID

Η μέθοδος Στανισλάβσκι, όπως τη διαμόρφωσαν οι ιδρυτές του Actors Studio - μεταξύ των οποίων και η Stella Adler - χρησιμοποιείται και σήμερα από τους περισσότερους Αμερικανούς ηθοποιούς. Πώς απελευθερώνουμε την ενέργειά μας στο μέγιστο; Τι σημαίνει δρω σκηνικά; Πώς κάνω αποτελεσματικές επιλογές για το χαρακτήρα που θα ερμηνεύσω; Σε αυτές και άλλες ερωτήσεις θα απαντήσει με το σεμινάριό του στη Νάξο (1-8/7, 25 ώρες μάθημα), χρησιμοποιώντας κείμενα του Τένεσι Ουίλιαμς, ο καθηγητής του «Stella Adler studio of acting» και βραβευμένος σκηνοθέτης Ντένις Ρέιντ. Το μάθημα θα γίνει στα αγγλικά (οι σκηνές θα παρουσιάζονται στα ελληνικά). Τα έργα του Ουίλιαμς που θα δουλευτούν, θα δοθούν πριν. Mr Reid works as an Actor, Writer, Director, Teacher and Producer. Dennis's most recent directing project was an original play for the Powerhouse theatre program, among his other directing credits HENRY VI parts I and II, for NY Stage and Film, Two Gentlemen of Verona Powerhouse Summer Theater, Titus Andronicus, at Fordham University. Dennis Directed and Produced his adaption of Strindbergs Miss Julie for his company Green Eyed Monster Productions. Among Dennis's other directing credits: Avalon Theater co; Arc Lite Theater co; and EST. He developed his one man show Mandingo of Manhattan as a resident artist at the Mabou Mines suite, from which he was awarded a Jerome Fellowship. Dennis has performed at regional theaters throughout the country, including the Spolleto Festival in Charleston SC, The Cidermill Playhouse, Binghampton NY, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Guthrie in Minneapolis, the Kennedy Center , D.C., Yale Rep, Voice and Vision(Smith College) Rites and Reason (Brown University). In New York he has appeared at HERE, NADA, the Public Theater, CSC, La Mama, Ohio Theater, En Garde Arts and Mabou Mines. Dennis is a faculty member at Vassar College where teaches acting. He has taught at Columbia University, The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, Circle Rep, Fordham University, Marymount Manhattan College.He is a graduate of Yale University.
